OVERVIEW
Mountain Mycology is building with intention. The Operations Support role is designed for experienced operators and builders who bring clarity, judgment, and execution—not just a résumé.

This is a flexible, high-trust role for individuals whose skills may span operations, systems, technology, strategy, or growth. Rather than forcing talent into predefined boxes, we align responsibilities around demonstrated strengths and real business needs.

This role works closely with leadership during an early growth phase and may evolve into a more formalized position as the organization scales.

SCOPE OF CONTRIBUTION
Operations Support team members may engage in:

  • Early-stage operational design and refinement
  • Territory development and infrastructure support
  • Internal systems, documentation, and workflow optimization
  • Web, technical, or brand-adjacent initiatives
  • Strategic research and execution support
  • Cross-functional problem solving as priorities shift

WHO THIS IS FOR

This role is suited for someone who:

  • Has operated in early-stage or transitional environments
  • Brings a strong sense of ownership and professional judgment
  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping structure
  • Communicates clearly and documents decisions
  • Values discretion, trust, and long-term alignment

If you’ve helped build something from the inside before—and prefer meaningful leverage over rigid hierarchy—this role will likely resonate.

HOW TO APPLY
If you would like to be considered for future opportunities

Mountain Mycology is growing deliberately. While we don’t list every role publicly, we recognize that strong contributors often see where they can add value before a position formally exists.

Future Opportunities is for individuals who believe their skills, experience, or perspective could support the organization in meaningful ways as we scale—even if there isn’t an active role that fits today.

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF
This path is appropriate for people who:

  • Have a clear, specific skill set or domain expertise
  • Are comfortable initiating contribution rather than waiting for a posting
  • Understand early-stage environments and evolving needs
  • Value discretion, professionalism, and long-term alignment
  • Prefer substance and impact over titles

This is often the right entry point for specialists, operators, and builders whose work doesn’t fit neatly into standard roles.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Submitting interest here does not guarantee immediate engagement. Applications are reviewed periodically and revisited as new needs arise.

When alignment is clear, we reach out directly.
