Shipping policy

Effective Date: January 5th. 2025

1) Delivery Only (No Shipping)

We provide local delivery only and do not ship.

2) Service Area

Delivery is available only within: Detroit, Ann Arbor, Hazel Park, Ferndale, and Jackson, Michigan.

You do not need to reside within these areas to receive delivery. You may choose a public meeting location within the Service Area to meet your driver.

3) Hours and Scheduling

We are open 7 days per week.
Order cutoff: 6:00 p.m. (ET). Orders placed after 6:00 p.m. will be scheduled for the next day.

Minimum order: $35.

Delivery fee: $15 flat fee on orders under $100; waived on orders $100+.

After you place an order, a Mountain Mycology representative will contact you using the phone number you provide to schedule a delivery time.

4) Age Verification and ID Requirement (21+ Only)

All deliveries require valid government-issued photo ID proving you are 21+. The recipient must be present with ID at delivery.

If ID is not provided or cannot be verified, we will not complete the delivery.

5) Payment (Cash Only)

  • We accept cash only.

  • Drivers do not carry change. Please have the exact amount ready.

  • Tips are appreciated.

6) Delivery Attempts, No-Shows, Rescheduling, and Refusals

To complete a delivery, the recipient must:

  • be reachable by phone,

  • meet at the scheduled location on time,

  • present valid 21+ photo ID, and

  • provide exact cash payment.

Driver wait time: Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at the scheduled meeting location/window (as conditions allow).

If the recipient is unavailable or cannot be reached within the wait time, the delivery will be treated as a no-show and the order will be returned.

Rescheduling after a no-show:

  • We will generally offer one reschedule at no additional charge.

  • Additional reschedules may require a $15 redelivery fee (even if the original order qualified for free delivery), to cover driver time and logistics.

ID failure: If ID is missing, invalid, does not match the recipient, or cannot be verified, we will not complete the delivery. We may allow a reschedule at our discretion; repeated ID failures may be treated as no-shows and may require a redelivery fee.

Refusal for safety: Driver safety is non-negotiable. We may refuse or discontinue a delivery attempt if:

  • the location is unsafe or not reasonably accessible,

  • the recipient requests the driver enter a residence or proceed into unsafe areas,

  • the interaction becomes hostile, threatening, or harassing, or

  • the driver reasonably believes completing delivery is unsafe.

7) Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item, notify us the same day as delivery at 313-380-0171 or hello@mountainmyc.com.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may ask for:

  • a photo of the item received (including label/packaging), and/or

  • your order confirmation details.

If confirmed, you may keep the incorrect item, and we will deliver the correct item as soon as possible at no additional charge.

8) Customer Responsibilities

To ensure successful delivery, you agree to:

  • provide accurate contact and delivery information,

  • be reachable by phone around the scheduled window,

  • meet at the scheduled location on time with valid ID and exact cash payment,

  • choose a safe location for delivery.

9) Delays and Force Majeure

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather, traffic, road closures, public events, emergencies, or other force majeure conditions. If a delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate and reschedule.
